As much as I love natural gems, they are incredibly expensive and also I'm not sure where I stand ethically on how and whom they are mined because you never really know it's origins. So I've decided on synthetic emeralds, synthetic rubies and black cubic zirconia. They are beautiful, sustainable, ethical and durable. You can't go wrong!

Sticks and stones
I've always wanted to introduce some colour in my jewellery. Recently I began playing with some coloured stones and setting them into my cast gumnut silver rings.

Studio Soundtrack
Erykah Badu and Bjork always on repeat at the studio. Both for their music and aesthetic. Love them til the end.

2012 Christmas Finders Keepers
Thank you so much to those who came and supported our collective "The Silver Room" at this year's Finders Keepers. We began partaking in the annual emerging designers markets since 2009 and every year we have a blast! Here are few pics from our stall for those who missed out. Please visit the The Finder Keepers website for more images.
Darlinghurst Studio
This is the studio that I share with 3 other local designers and artists. Still only a few months since we bumped in, so we have a little more setting up to do, but we love it!

It's been so long!
2012 Finders Keepers was a great success. Thank you all for coming and supporting local talents! I have completely neglected this blog for so long but my excuse is that I have been crazy busy this year with amazing travels to Germany, Istanbul, Paris, New York and setting up my new studio in Darlinghurst...:) I am also currently in the middle of launching an online store and working on some new designs, one of which is this Gumtree twig stack rings, made of sterling silver and brass. Please check them out and my other new additions on my website. Merry Christmas xx

Spikey bangles!
I have been working to extend the Caterpillar range. Here is a pic of the new bangle I've been crafting in sterling silver and pink bronze. They are quite delicate and sweet...I have also been designing new earrings and rings so I will post images of them soon too...
